Personal Data - Public

Postby Auley » Wed Jun 18, 2014 6:22 pm

I periodically may google my name or my husbandis simply to observe what comes up.Recently, after I googled my husband's name - a website seemed that mentioned his title, tackle and delivery date. The birth-date worried me as this could be employed for id purposes. The website also says that should you need the data eliminated you'll need to spend $20.00 for them to complete so.This trash is AUTHORIZED?(Ny)

Yes, unfortunately, it's legal.A lot of our "personal" information is actually public record and can be found in a variety of places.

Yes, it's legal. The date of one's birth is not any sort of private fact protected from public disclosure by any state or federal law.

Personal Info - Public

Unfortunately I've noticed that. The fact that they are posting the info and then asking for $20.00 to remove it from public view - is the part that irks me the most.
