We've a rent that began May 2006 and concludes August 25, 2007.Our new rent does not start unitl Sept 4th and we were thinking about simply remaining in our present home till we're in a position to transfer to our new house.We've requested our landlords to get a later re-locate day however they refused.What occurs if we-don't re-locate once the lease ends?May we be susceptible to any quantity of lease the landlord chooses?Do they've to record a court hearing to get people evicted?exactly what does that to the credit?There's NO mention in our rental about being a holdover tenent.Any support is appreciated!Cheers! Should you hold-over for some times its likley that the LL may charge you to get a complete month.Your LL do not need to accept your demand--but like a LL I will let you know thats its NOT in my own $$ advantage to attach a legitimate battle over a brief phrase holdover when its obvious I've an assortment device--like your protection deposit.So like a tenant I'd clam up and construct my choices under agreement and CAis crazy M-T regulations in regards to what if something occurs easily simply hold-over for just two weeks.
