When the time estimated to complete a HIT, or project, is computed by Requester, the minimum amount they should be allowed to set their compensation rate at should be the U.S. minimum wage equivalent for that time worked.(More is always welcome, of course - but now we're dreaming.) This should be built into Amazon's MTurk system so that no work could be offered below that rate. Why is this not operative? It seems like a violation of U.S. labor law. Would love to see class action lawsuit to settle this.
