Amending Petition

Dear Kelly

I am not licensed to practice in Maryland and can't tell you specifically what to do. Generally, you should amend your complaint by restating what you said in your first complaint and adding a new count for alimony. Every county is different and if you don't do it correctly you may be thrown out of court. You really need to see a local lawyer to find out how to proceed. Good luck.
