I've been trying to find a lawyer to take a case of mine. It was an incident that occurred in NYC back in March of this year and I was assaulted and permanently scarred. I've contacted a few law firms already, but no one will take my case. Does anyone have a good reference for a NYC law firm?

I know but please contact the NY Bar Association so they will assist you.

Just a note some may not take the case depending on the extent of the injury.
As they say, "time is money" so they won't waste time on a loosing/small case.
