Can i ask for some honest feedback....please send reasonable replies?

Postby raleah » Thu Apr 07, 2011 6:25 pm

i am the youngest on my mom's side of the family.....all of my cousins in india are married and settled in life....

i have a cousin who complains when i dont write or call...before i send email messages, i keep saying to myself why do i want to email him when he has his own family to take care of..

my parents got divorced in 97 at the age of 10....my cousin in india is a lawyer who specializes in everything.. when i studies civil and criminal law, i asked my cousin in india and he said laws are different, but when i asked my mom's brother last year, he told me the definition of the laws are the same around the world...now, i feel embarrassed about asking my cousin for help....

what is ur opinion, advice...please be reasonable....

Better to be safe than sorry. In general, start with the assumption that the laws are different between the two countries. After all the countires are different but there are similar beliefs that all humans hold to be true . For example when life and death are involved.

If later you find a particular law, or way to deal with an issue is the same, you can make a mental note of that . Also, it is best to ask several different sources from different areas of your life (both of these are relatives) for their perspective on things. You may try teachers, many lawyers give free consultation time in hope of getting your business or referal later
