Can i get a patent combining two products that already exist?

hello everyone...well i have an idea that i believe can make a lot of money . This idea is composed of two existing products .and combining their functions so that they can work together .and get the job done faster. so my question is , if i combine these two products .to make a different item .can i call it my own an can I patent my product ... thanks ...

You have to seek first the approval of of the product inventor or creator.
