my boy is 19 and it is closed up for carnal knowledge. I understand the offense is bad-but he didnt recognize the intensity of it. any guidance for whenever we visit courtroom/ and anybody understand in va what he might get sentenced to/as well as can there be any witnesses we're able to provide to assist his situation/

Your son should consult a criminal defense lawyer who is experienced with this type of case.

If your son cannot afford a criminal defense attorney, he should be able to petition the court to appoint a lawyer to represent him. That's probably the best course to getting legal advice at a minimum cost.
