It often depends on how many other people are involved, as well as the resulting settlement.
If the settlement is $1 million, and there are 1 million people involved in the lawsuit, it's likely each person would get about 25 cents, after all of the legal fees were paid out. I recently got paperwork regarding a class action suit I had the option to get involved in...when I read through the fine print, they said the law firms involved would get some $1.5 million, and the plaintiffs would each get one year of free online credit monitoring. There was never any intent to get money back to the plaintiffs...just the law firms.
It's fairly common that plaintiffs in class action suits don't really get much in the long run. Often, the intent is to punish the corporation, as opposed to actually getting something fixed.
If you truly believe that Yaz caused the gallbladder disease, you're probably best off finding a lawyer and filing suit on your own.
