i am the pres. of a corporation. can the corporation file bk without me filing bk. how is this done.

Corporations can also file chapter 7, which leaves nothing but the shell when it is all over.
If you have personally guaranteed any of the corporations obligations, you will remain liable.

It is named a chapter 11 bankruptcy. Consult local counsel. I'd not try this 1 pro se.Also, if you individually guarenteed some loans for the business (which frequently appears to be the case with small business owners), you might not obtain the aid that you find from the section 11 bankruptcy.Best to put out your details and general condition with a skilled bankruptcy attorney.
