Court Help: Workers Comp, Contempt, Child?

Postby rushford79 » Thu Mar 01, 2012 9:18 am

My fiancee is on worker's compensation, that means medical leave and no pay. She owes child back child support but can't do anything til this is over and she files for her disability.
They want her to pay a lot to pay her son. (Like 12000 a year.. that's about how much she made a year, plus pay her child support)... so she can't afford to see her son right now.
In the divorce papers it also says she is allowed to talk to her son at LEAST once a week. It's been over three years (now four years) since she last spoke to her son.
Her ex husband changes his phone number every time she gets it and calls.
We've been calling lawyers all day (We do this once a month, and have been doing it for 6 months).
What can we do? No money for a lawyer, and can't afford to see her son at the moment.

What can we do?

(Btw, don't tell me things like pay child support. HELLO, no money.)

Please do not be rude.
