Do You Know Anyone Who Has Never Used The Internet?

I was reading this morning in regards to a politician(no-name, result in that's not the emphasis of this situation) that is by no means looked for something on point, never ever sent a contact(or text, for that matter), in no way browse the details or a web site on some kind of personal computer. That only seems not possible in my expertise! Do any individual be identified by you who has no-interest in the web in any way, in this extremely day and age?

Yes, I have a neighbor who has zero interest in the Internet. She doesn't personal a laptop either. I am tempted to say it's a generation factor but that's not it.  I'm an "older"(cough) particular person too.  I can't picture not getting on line at least once a day, typically a lot considerably a lot more.  It really is how I communicate, investigation, shop, keep up to date on the news and weather etc and so forth.  Positive I do other items as nicely.  I have a house and large yard to care for, a husband and two terrific dogs.  I do transport for Dobermans and I socialize with close friends.  But as I mentioned, I can not think about life with out the net any a lot more than I can envision life without having a cell phone. My neighbor, who is a very content and contented person, travels, bowls, plays soft ball, does all her personal yard function, has two cats and stays up far later than I do.  She just has no interest whatsoever in computer systems a lot much less the world wide web.  She is about 10 years old than I am and yeah, I'm officially a senior citizen.  She could performs circles around somebody half her age.  No grass grows below her feet. I guess life is all about what makes you content.  I am content carrying out what I do, you are content TurboB4CAK performing what you do and my neighbor does what she does and lives her life.  Viva la differ-ance. I work at a computer repair center on campus at OSU and we had an elderly fellow come in today to learn how to get online. It was a great experience but it took over 90 minutes to show him how to log into the school domain with a guest account. He said he had seen people use computers to play card games but had never known they could do anything else. In the 3 hours I spent with him, we visited 1 site and he was thrilled to see that his contributions to this committee were showing up when he Googled it. Ok, so now I can't say that I know anyone that hasn't used it, but they are out there!

She has access to a computer but refuses to use it for anything beyond very simple games.  When pressed as to why she won?t try going on the internet, she says she?s afraid she is going to mess up the computer.  I created step by step instructions, illustrated with screen prints, showing how to access the internet, but still she won?t try. Unfortunately, as part of my job dealing with employees at my company, I have encountered other older people who are frightened by computer technology, finding nothing good in it & refusing to have anything to do with it what so ever.  It?s really sad that people chose to cut themselves off from the wonders that the internet opens up to us.  To me, saying that you won?t use the internet is like saying you refuse to ever use a telephone or watch a tv

I'm surprised he even uses a cell phone.  As for computers, the only time he touches one is to record the work orders at his place of employment.  Otherwise, no interest.  It's not like he hasn't been around people who use the internet or talk about it and the fun and information we gather.  The rest of the family all have computer skills.  He just says "I'm old-fashioned and don't need it."  Okay, his loss.  I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but this ole Bear learned!
