If you have tested positive on a drug test issued by an employer, you have the right to dispute the results. Under the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988, there are certain regulations that require or at least encourage employers to provide alternative methods of testing before termination takes place. The only way to do so is to disclose the results to the employee. However, the employer has the right to direct the employee to the lab or other third party who administered the test to get the results.
Hope this helps!
