My question requires a youngster custody case from the State of: Indiana
Son's mother filed for modification of custody to give father joint custody of 14 yr old son for entire college year. She stated in the court documents that son no longer listens to her. She receives disability rewards which I think is for mental disability since she is physically capable. (she had malignant brain tumors which were removed and she now has severe memory difficulties). Mother does not maintain up with child's homework, overall health appointments, or medications. Child has removed himself from his medications, has not observed any medical professional, and quite a lot is enabled to do whatever he wants. He is generally running the show. He has behavior difficulties at school and at house. He has failed final two years in school. He is disrespectful to teachers and other authority figures and is continually receiving in problems and suspended from school. Kid does not have any consequences for behavior issues or being suspended from college and gets into physical fights with his mom and mom's boyfriend at instances. Is there a way to uncover out exactly the basis of her disability qualification? What can I do to aid my youngster before it is also late and he becomes a juvenile delinquent due to the fact mother can not maintain up with him mentally?
