Flma Vs. Workmans Comp

I had reported an injury to my store manager, within 10 mins after it happened. L-4, L-5, S-1, S-2, with Nerve Damage..... Now I am being denied, because I did not fill out FLMA paperwork. I am lost, I thought that this would be a Workers Compensation Injury!  I was on the time clock when this took place. Please help!
