I sort of asked about this in an earlier question. I posted a comment which I believed to be true about a website in the UK and they sent me pm's that what I did was defamatory. The comments were removed less than 2 days later, I apologized to the website owner and even went so far as to offer to do whatever it takes to make things right. I even got e message from the site owner saying she's going to drop the issue, but I still feel terrified. Please let me know if you think they've really accepted my apologies or if they might sue me and possibly for how much(rough estimate). I posted the comments in New Mexico, USA by the way. Legal experts welcomed, thank you very much.
