Having a dispute with a tenant or landlord? Rental Law discussion

Home Taken, No Rent Paid

Postby camdin » Tue Jun 03, 2014 1:18 am

Our issue entails landlord-tenant legislation within the State-Of: Mo
I've a service by which somebody is applying storagenspace. We initially had a rental contract but he hasnt settled lease since May. He doesnt have everywhere to place his supplies at this time and so I was good enough to allow him utilize that room till he may find someplace. The area his supplies have been in, one of his true guys broken the doorway after which ripped it along, it'll charge 00 to repolace. And so I cant safe that room.
He currently involves me informing me a number of his products are absent. I told him, I'd no method to secure his supplies, his guys shattered the doorway, he hasnt settled lease etc and it has declined to correct the door.
Am I responsible for absent supplies?

Additionally, this can be a strictly professional tenancy?
While were you informed of the issue using the doorway? Were you requested to correct the doorway or else secure it? Is that this a doorway within your facility, or perhaps a doorway available by folks from beyond your facility? If perhaps in the inside, could it be available from the public, you as well as your workers, or... who?
