in the country legally?

A police official who spoke on the condition of anonymity stated that the suspect just looked like an illegal and they could usually tell ones immigration status from just looking at someone.

Best.
Law.
Ever.

In contrast, how's the TSA doing? They arrest millions of people every day at the airports, who are travelling legally. Many times they arrest infants.

Arresting people who haven't actually done anything is the fastest way to destroy society.

Well, it's a perfect example of Southern Racist Stupidity.

Farmers are desperate to harvest crops - because ALL Mexicans are afraid to come to Mississippi, Georgia and Alabama.

It seems as though - these southern states just aren't fulfilling their 'grand reason for being' - unless they are trying to repress someone - or some group.

My opinion.

Lets see, he was arrest during a drug bust and could not provide any identification and had trouble communicating with the police. You think if he had been a good ole white boy they would have let him go. Wrong. He was detained and properly. As police often do they pile up charges or complaints upon a suspect in hopes of keeping him from getting bail.

Your comment about police stating he looked "illegal" is a lie. Something concocted by you perhaps because you do not seem to know what you are doing on this planet.

This law is going to cause so much trouble, and they deserve it too.

If I was that guy I'd sue them, not sure what he can sue for, but I'm sure he could get 50 or 100k out of the police station, precinct, whatever, that arrested him.

It's working out great. My sister, a teacher, has been really frustrated with all the money illegal kids are eating up from the school budget. Now illegal students are leaving the schools, their parents often leaving the state. Given the state of the economy, this is great news for Alabama schools with their tight budgets.

And to the extent it makes Alabama look stupid to the rest of the country - well, they already did anyway. Alabama's greatest pride is, "at least we aren't Mississippi". So, no harm done there.

You didn't mention that crops are getting rotten on the vines because all the jobs Americans wanted that illegals took won't take these jobs. The law came back to bite them on the butt

So, they're human.

Do people not realize we have over 10 million criminals to apprehend or at least deal with?

Get over it, they're just doing their job. If a criminal looked like me, I couldn't blame to cops for being suspicious.
