How much TAXES do WE the AMERICAN people pay ?

What happened if every year someone came into you house and took 30% of all of your furniture? What if every week someone stole 30% of all of your food out of your house? Is that okay? Is that acceptable? American citizens need to protest this injustice, and I do not know how it got to be like this in the first place. Is it because our forefathers and fellow citizens just took a back seat all the while when these taxes were introduced and continually raised (Totalitarian Tip-toe)? And yes, I would like to pay may "fair share" for police, fire, community and social services, but this is ridiculous. America will soon fall apart from within, we are all slaves now while we have the illusion that we are all free with a brainwashed smile. And, if I don't like it... yes, I know I can leave. Well, yes, I have on several occasions. I served 10 years of my life fighting for this F$@%ed up country and I live here, I contributed in more ways than one. So, you are either with me or part of the problem which will only get worse... it is time to DO SOMETHING about it.... time to say enough is enough and any politician who proposed or proposes higher taxes should be OUT. Get these scumbags out of office, they should be by the people for the people. If you like paying more, you are a fool!!! We pay dearly already, we aren't free, we pay to live here!!!

you.The top rate on federal tax is 35% There
was a time it was 90%, so stop your crying.

That's why our health care system is so expensive and our public education sucks.

We pay too much. But then again, we live in a country that is constantly trying to short change the working class. We're doing factory jobs for min. wage which use to be good paying jobs. Meanwhile the rich are getting richer.. that's a fact. But overall, we do pay too many taxes. And although people scream for more taxes on the wealthy it doesn't work at that way. It's always passed on to the middle and lower classes in lower wages and higher costs for everything.

Big business today.. nearly ALL big businesses.. are supported by the government. When they refuse to pay a working wage to their people those people must turn to the government for financial aid. Therefore, companies like Diebold, who hire lots of temps at $9 an hour, couldn't function without this government aid. Think about that!
