It's our governments fault for not enforcing our immigration laws.Here is the difference between our country and the rest of the world. If you cross the North Korean border illegally you get 12 years hard If you cross the Iranian border illegally you are detained indefinitely. If you cross the Afghan border illegally, you get shot. If you cross the Saudi Arabian border illegally you will be jailed. If you cross the Chinese border illegally you may never be heard from again. If you cross the Venezuelan border illegally you will be branded a spy and your fate will be sealed. If you cross the Mexican borders illegally you will be jailed for one year, or never be heard from again. If you cross the Cuban border illegally you will be thrown into political prison to rot. If you cross the United States border illegally you get: 1 - A job 2 - A driver's license 3 - A Social Security card 4 - Welfare 5 - Food stamps 6 - Credit cards 7 - Subsidized rent or a loan to buy a house 8 - Free education 9 - Free health care 10 - A lobbyist in Washington 11 - Billions of dollars in public documents printed in your language 12 - Millions of servicemen and women who are willing to - and do - die for your right to the ways and means of our constitution 13 - And the right to carry the flag of your country - the one you walked out on - while you call America racist and protest that you don't get enough respect.

Nice Post. You should have included other Westernized Countries like England, Canada, France, and, Germany who have tight immigration laws. They too have immigration problems and have taken care of them by stopping folks at the border. Even people with Technical and Government jobs waiting for them in these countries have to jump through hoops to get work visas and "green cards". Shalom~Adoniah

Something is very very wrong with that scenario. When are some elected officials going to have the guts to say enough is enough and the buck stops here. We all piss and moan about the unfairness of illegal immigration but we do not do anything to stop it!

From what I've read from historical accounts, it was the immigrant population--legal or illegal--that was responsible for lowering the cost of labor in American industries. It made the United States a powerhouse in the global economy. Of course, that was decades ago. I think the current negative sentiments concerning immigration are more a result of the financial crisis being experienced by the United States. If not for the crisis, the U.S. government will probably just face the other way and overlook the problem. Anyway, I'm sure if the U.S. can exploit illegal immigrants to make money for their industries they will continue doing so. Maybe, they are being outproduced because the Chinese are far more efficient in exploiting their own population to make better products.

You are exactly right. That is what the usurper in the WH wants. It is deporable and disgusting. In addition to lawlessness, poverty and loss of our freedom, they also bring serious diseases and an invitation to terrorists and other dangers.
