Friendly advice.... if you "rock the boat" you will be seen as the trouble maker. A manager has more pull within the company and you are not informed of agreements made between the top guys and your manager.Sometimes a manager is not supposed to get over-time because they are exempt. Many times they decide if an extra project was done to allow it and that would be a reason for "fudging" over-ridding the time clock. If you are being told that you are not doing your job you need to clarify that and not be worrying about the manager. Get documentation and details on the jobs that you are doing additionally to what is expected and ask to sit down with your supervisor and present proof of work done.I was a general manager of various companies and I never allowed tattle tale. If an employee came to me with a complaint about a coworker, I would get both of them in the conference room and clear the air. The accuser had to face the accused. Up front, never behind anyone's back. Many times the accusations were self serving. An employee wanted to look good, bashing another person. I stopped that real quick.Treat with dignity the people you work with. If you are unhappy look for another job. Violet1 24 months ago
