I agree with Violet, but if you can't let it rest maybe go over their head and tell their Boss what they have been doing, but don't be shocked when or if their Boss sides with them.   Squeeky-changes-suck 24 months ago

Stop trying to figure out what the manager is doing. It will only get you upset and it will not do anything for you.   Violet1 24 months ago

Friendly advice.... if you "rock the boat" you will be seen as the trouble maker. A manager has more pull within the company and you are not informed of agreements made between the top guys and your manager.Sometimes a manager is not supposed to get over-time because they are exempt. Many times they decide if an extra project was done to allow it and that would be a reason for "fudging" over-ridding the time clock. If you are being told that you are not doing your job you need to clarify that and not be worrying about the manager. Get documentation and details on the jobs that you are doing additionally to what is expected and ask to sit down with your supervisor and present proof of work done.I was a general manager of various companies and I never allowed tattle tale. If an employee came to me with a complaint about a coworker, I would get both of them in the conference room and clear the air. The accuser had to face the accused. Up front, never behind anyone's back. Many times the accusations were self serving. An employee wanted to look good, bashing another person. I stopped that real quick.Treat with dignity the people you work with. If you are unhappy look for another job.   Violet1 24 months ago

No, it is not fair. Does upper management know about it? Will your fellow workers stand with you on the complaint? Is it legal? Have you contacted your local labor board or the FTC? FBI? State police? Start at the bottom and work your way up. Or you could find another job... I have worked for companies like this, since there are so many. Hate them!   kritiper 24 months ago
