Is it legal to take something back if you had bought it?

Postby EmperorPenguin1 » Sun Oct 21, 2012 6:33 am

I bought clothes, and gave them to a girl, and made it clear that I expected compensation. After I didn't receive any compensation, I took the clothing back. This girl is now trying to file a theft report, or something along those lines, against me for taking these clothes, which she believed to be 'hers'. I, however, can prove that I had been the one to buy them, and have multiple sources that can vouch for the fact that I was never repaid. What would the legal standards and outcome of this?
