Is it USEF legal to wear boot sticky spray/shouler back at a horse show in an equitation class?

I have heard a lot about people using these aids in horse shows, especially in equitation classes. I told a fellow rider using them that I would not ride with them because it was cheating. She asked me to prove her wrong by finding the USEF rule/regulation against them. Checking my rule book I coulnd't find one. Does anybody know if/where one exists?

A rule against them probably doesn't exist. But, ethics say you shouldn't use those sorts of aids in those types of classes. It's sad to say that a lot of people who show anymore lack the ethics to compete properly.
