Save your money...you don't need a book. Go to this link to get a good understanding of the Maryland process: http://www.sos.state.md.us/Notary/NotaryAppInfo.htm http://www.sos.state.md.us/Notary/Duties.htm Then, go to this second link and print out the Handbook: http://www.sos.state.md.us/Notary/Notary.pdf Good luck with this!

Go to the web site below. http://www.notaryrotary.com/101/become_a_Maryland_notary_public.asp Then click on the link for the Maryalnd Notary Public Handbook, which will lead you to a booklet in a PDF format. I checked out the booklet. It is from the state and seems to be one of those official documents that will tell you eveything you would ever want to know about the subject. Good luck!
