This is not merely misleading.... This is just another instance of Obama making something out to be something that it really isn't... just like his whole campaign. Oh yes this is typical of minorities who wants to be treated "equally"
They were poor but have no problem living their opulent lives today.
They took offense when they are described as minority groups or ethnic groups or directly by their nation or region of origin (Hispanics, African American) etc in that case they are offended and claim to ONLY be American (you know the "what do you mean you people") ... but then they make a point of being Hispanics and how their cultural backgrounds allows them to be smarter or better prepared or better judgment making people than pure blood Americans.
Yeah they WANT to be called Americans when it fits but they WANT to be different and SHOW it when it's convenient.
