I had been wondering if somebody might please inform me the lock-out process within Houston, and what my privileges like a tenant are.<br />
I had been informed from the condo complex, that after they did a lock-out I'd need to abandon the condo and may just return set for a couple of things before lease was compensated. I have to understand if that is accurate. Cheers!

Thanks everybody for the reactions. I intend on having a duplicate of the sculpture with me when they place the notice about the doorway. They usually do 24-hour updates but when I am aware regulations right, they've to provide me atleast before 3rd evening in the notice. Additionally they inform me that I'd need to abandon the areas before lease is compensated and certainly will just come right into the condo for some issues, but that also appears to be incorrect, per the sculpture!

The landlord is wrong.  Although Tx is just a condition where a landlord can do a lockout, absent an eviction order, THE ONLY REAL reason for it's if your tenant is wholly declining to speak about the subject of nonpayment of rent.  The landlord needs to issue an advance written notice of the lockout and, if that is overlooked, then your lockout needs to be resolved by means of a notice about the doorway stating where the tenant might get a vital 24/7.<br />

Read the rules carefully--the LL must respond  24 /7 within 2 hours to let you in or possibly be zapped 1 months rent--so think thru if you want to educate LL  or just play the odds------------
