Maintenance Payments For Children

Hello Kevin,

your ex-wife getting married again does NOT have any effect on your financial responsibilities towards your children. The new husband is not financially liable for children by another father.

Your ex-wife's own income will only become relevant once(one of) the children moves out as that child will then have a financial claim against you and the mother and this claim will be split between the two of you according to your relative income.
