May Landlord Split A Rent Without Notice

Postby elkan80 » Thu Feb 06, 2014 7:13 am

My issue requires landlord-tenant legislation within the State-Of: Indiana
I closed a 4 month rent, with month-to-month standing to take effect following the 4 weeks. Our landlord has filed bankruptcy, but mentioned beforehand he might keep consitently the home. 2 nights before, without any notice, he left me a voice-mail saying that heis providing the home back once again to the man from whom he signed a property agreement. I do not really mind who my landlord is, but I'm pleased with the present conditions of the lease and do not would like to get right into a scenario where my book is increased or where I'm compelled to signal a brand new long term lease. What're my rights/choices? It appears that easily, the tenant, simply chose to break the conditions of the lease, there could be excellent repercussions.

Can Landlord Break A Lease Without Notice

Postby Avrell » Fri Feb 14, 2014 12:46 pm

If we are able to suppose that by "providing the home back towards the man from whom he signed a land agreement" you imply that heis merely reconveying the home back for the who from whom he was buying it, then your deal could remain susceptible to your rent. Your lease, obviously, is susceptible to termination upon correct notice.
