Really depends on your circumstances. Things to consider are whether you are a home owner, have you got savings, have you got a car valued above £500 ?
A debt management plan or an IVA may be a better option but you need to take some professional advice on this matter as we are not able to advise without the full facts, and if you decide to go bankrupt the judge will ask you what advice you have taken and I don't think they would grant you bankruptcy if you said you got your advice off yahoo answers.
Try CCCS or Payplan. these companies are charities and do not charge for their services.
DO NOT go with a fee charging company a they are only out to make more out of you.

sell your car, downgrade your house. that should pay it off.

am 23, no car, no job, no house (live with parents) thats my current situation, appreciate the things you have instead of always wanting more!
