On August 26, 2000 an attempted murder...?

Postby lamarr3 » Sun Dec 18, 2011 8:42 pm

...An attempted murder was perpetrated upon my wife and me. The person who perpetrated this crime is an Arkansas son of a politician...he is now allowed to practice law in the state of Arkansas, without any charges being brought against him, and in full cooperation with the Arkansas Bar Asociation. Should violent criminals, who have not served any time to pay for their crimes, be allowed to practice law in these United States?

Obviously you didn't have enough proof to substantiate your claims of your charges otherwise you would have gone to trial and he would be behind bars, not practicing law somewhere.

Could you give us more details.

What happened, he used a shotgun and missed, or only wounded you, or what?

Not to belittle your situation , but it happens every day. Power(political) and money can get you out of anything. I seriously doubt that this is what our founding fathers had in mind. The legal system is a cesspool of corruption. As bad as it sounds the news media is about as bad. Let the media turn over a few rocks and see what crawls out.

Sorry to be the one to tell you this but unless charges were brought and he was convicted, the guy is not considered a criminal.

Going with your philosophy - you have a person tried and convicted and labled a criminal without a trial. That is not the way things work in the U.S.
