POLL: Do you agree with ron paul about making all drugs legal to use and possess?

i would have to say i agree with him. i mean we already have alcohol illegal which is an addictive and dangerous drug. also cigarettes are legal which is another addictive and dangerous drug. and i mean marijuana should definitely be legal because its safer and less addictive than coffee. prohibition doesn't work and just creates a way for drug cartels and law enforcement to make money. i mean its just like how alcohol prohibition made money for the mobsters back in the 20's.

Did he really say that? hahah he just won my vote.

And keeping drugs illegal makes them more expensive, and limits the business just to the illegal cartels that traffic them. If they were legal there would be more competition and people that sold them like such cartels would not be so hostile and dangerous. I visited Mexico and 30 people were chainsawed to death because of drug wars. This would also lead to less od's The USDA could properly dose them and package them for use and there would not be as many over doses and deaths. The government is in on the illegal drug business its why they keep it illegal, so they get all the benefits.

"The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this." - Albert Einstein

End Prohibition.

I think marijuana should be legal and I agree with him on that. I don't think the hard stuff like heroin, cocaine and other heavy narcotics like that should however. It destroys lives and creates addicts on a very fast basis which marijuana really doesn't do so much. The worst thing that happens with weed is that is you smoke too much of it you may become stupid or get lung cancer but the same is true of alcohol and cigarettes. So in conclusion: No on making ALL drugs legal.

Alcohol, illegal? Where and what the hell are you talking about?

Coffee dangerous?

You're clearly a cocaine addict. As is this Ron Paul bloke.

Edit: Dumbass? You must be American. That nation will always insult their challenger.
Just because caffeine is a drug doesn't make it dangerous.
You're the one who needs to go back to school. Learn some basic punctuation.

no i dont ...... or maybe there's method in that madness..... decimation of the population if people are "allowed" to "use" to their hearts content..... there are an awful lot of sad people in despair who live in squalor and poverty on this planet mate...... letting people bandaid their sadness with drugs would wipe out whole communities rapidly....... no i don't agree with him.

who will look after the children.

the innocent victims.

no. By legalizing them you are condoning the use of them.

I don't condone the use of any drug so you won't catch me voting yes on a legalization bill

Nope. Though the crime rate may decrease, there would still be issues.
