Required To Lessen Standard Of Living To Pay For Child-Support?

Postby Florinio » Sun Feb 09, 2014 4:17 pm

For instance, EXis only revenue is $2000 a month from Social Security and Pension benefits, but his lease is $1000 (2 room apt) and new-car cost is $500 per month, hence, after additional essential bills it's apparent after reviewing his economic standing that EX doesn't have abillity to cover the rear CS debts. Might the District Attorney subsequently "recommend" he obtain a less cost vehicle, transfer to a $600 simple or one-bedroom condo and/or obtain a roomate so as to help you to pay for $500 monthly about the CS debts, normally his next home could be the state prison with no driver's permit. Is this the way in which it operates?

The DA doesn't "suggest" anything. How the ex decides to make his finances work is his problem, not the state's.
