other provable lies?
The response to petition declaration is like a Jerry Springer show, it has about 13 easily provable lies, but the libel is absolutely horrible too. This person will never back down.
Should that libel be ignored because I'm worried that by addressing it, this will open up to more and more volleys and be lengthy painful and costly. Or should I use the opportunity to lay out the dirty laundry in extreme ugly detail? I don't like my biz in the public realm. They started this libel so ther is some false stuff now in the public realm, and I think did so to misdirect, goad, be malicious and get away from the case at hand which is just some boring accounting.
I'm working with an attorney but I haven't decided if I want to just focus on the case (accounting demand) or defend myself too but in so doing expose a lot that I don't want to.
What would you do if attacked in a declaration with false personal allegations not germane to the case?
