Should we focus on meeting needs without credit to avoid "downward class migration"?

A video by an ordinary guy who explains the problem and the solution(s).

Especially the new generation entering the "adult" phase of life. You have been brainwashed to believe your "credit score" is important. This video, combined with

shows that if we can meet our needs by direct action instead of relying on credit, we can get ahead of the game. It is a diminishing access to credit (and inflation) which is destroying the middle class, just as in the past an increasing availability of credit sucked the middle class into debt-slavery.

If you can manage your own food, water, shelter, energy, health, security, sanitation and get some money coming in, you don't have to slave your life away to The Man and worship the false Idol of your credit score.

Should we focus on meeting needs without credit to avoid "downward class migration"?

I have hated that credit score since they started it in the 90's I believe. It is put in place to manipulate the way we handle our finances. Even if you owe nothing to anybody other than monthly utility bills, cable, etc, its possible to have a bad credit score. That makes no sense to me. Either people pay their bills or they don't. That is the bottom line in getting credit in my opinion. Are you a good risk or aren't you? It should be that simple.

Assets and lack of debt should result in a good credit score but I don't believe that is how it works. You have to show some kind of current debt that you pay on time to have a high score. Add to that, you now have to show you have 20% of the cost of the item you want to purchase regardless of the credit score. Another problem people have these days is the fact that you have to have been employed by the same place for a number of years. A lot of people bounce around in the job market now not necessarily because they want to. Too much uncertainty. I can understand why many people are preparing for the worst. Its like the cards are stacked against us.

The Credit ratings are a way to manage nobody getting a loan.
15 USC 1681 guides your appeals process to a credit report generated by a Credit Co, there are 3 major reporters -Equifax, Trans Union and Experian.
