The answer to your question is yes you can sue for slander and iif someone writes something bad and you can prove its them then you can sue for libel. Libel or slander is when you take someone and say bad things about them that make people think of them differently and it has to effect there everyday life. But the chances of this succeeding are very little you have a better chance calling the police and see what course of action they suggest..also a minor can sue but it must be done through the letigimate guardian...and don't be scard to go to school keep you head high and don't listen to what no one else says

It is slander, but it depends on your age. If you 18 or if your parents are helping you, you may go to court or maybe just work with your school and the students family.

children cannot sue anyone for anything. If you were an adult you could sue anyone for anything, but yelling at you does not constitute slander of libel.

Some people would strongly advice against that... Because it wouldn't stop the rumors, and your whole school/town would "hate" you...

But I don't blame you... And yes, if you get them on tape, using slander against you, then the police have probable cause to take action.

Again, you might want to think about having the entire school and town (I assume it's a small town) hate you... Because I come from a small town, and trust me, something like that would ruin your reputation. Even if you are in the right.
