i took out a auto loan with title max, but my car broked down on me.  Okay my monthly payments with them are 200 plus dollars and my car needs a transmission that cost 1300 without labor included.  I have spoken with the customer service rep telling her my condition and she stated i need to pay them and then fix my car, i told her that's my only means of transportation.  I told the customer service representative can i make a payment plan or make partial payments, she said no.  Well i told her that my car is currently in the shop and i have paid the mechanic half of the 1300 dollars she said i should have brought that payment to her.  So everyday they call my job and harrass me for my car or a payment.  Also by the way i make minium wage and i only get paid once a month.  Please help me in this situation

Harris:     They are within their rights to call you at work insofar as the FDCPA does not apply to original creditors.  Your options are limited.  You must pay them or they can repossess the vehicle.         J. Barnette         Barnette Law Offices
