Were You A "class Clown" In School?

I could in no way figure out if the class clown was actually happy, or if he/she was coming from a sadder, darker place.

Hello, My father(an university professor) had/has an huge spontaneity, has typically performed well to balance his serious aspect getting a lighthearted method and I guess that rubbed off on me.(We also observed lots of comedies.) I was in no way really ridiculous in college, usually have been able to create the teachers laugh, also, and  created great marks. I envision the cut-up portion of me was/is part of who I am.

Were You A "course Clown" In College?

I don?t genuinely think that all class clowns can be painted by you with specifically the same brush. I don?t genuinely believe that my knowledge is frequent. I visited a personal, all-male, military senior school. Standing within the team was primarily based on military position, academic expertise and athleticism.  I was in the most actually powerful academic position, an also-ran in the military material and not running at all. For that reason, I wasn?t at the leading of the chart, or at the bottom, but nearer to the prime compared to bottom.   In early stages I unearthed that I'd a wonderful spontaneity and could make puns and make a variety of cracks which-when completed in school, could get me a considerable chuckle. Numerous times I worked a pun into my classroom recitation that was so amusing that I doubled-up the instructor in addition to my friends.   Was I satisfied? No, I was an adolescent!  Was I unhappy and producing cracks to keep myself from destruction! No, I wasn?t that disappointed!   I was a-class clown considering that:   1.     I like laughter. I was raised seeing George Burns and Groucho Marx on Television.     two.   laughter lifted my standing within the team.     three.   laughter gave me a kind of capacity to direct and handle the group, even when only briefly. My rapidly humor run such as the degree a single Cash Producing Multiplier on Askville?as soon as every single day for some moments, my standing elevated.   why I was the class clown That's. Other individuals may have different causes.   Though, I ought to ask, you?ll most likely get skewed results right here on Askville, since anybody answering here managed to get by means of their teenage pressure well enough to be alive and in a pc. These with additional concerns could possibly not be accessible anymore to reply.   Sources: person expertise   Snow_Leopardis Tips Laughter has particular healing forces. Were You A "class Clown" In School?

Postby thom » Mon Jan 20, 2014 9:53 pm

I was darn proud to be the class clown too.  It was a pretty heated race between myself and another girl.  Luckily, most people voted for me and I won.  I had to share the title with a guy, but it was ok because he was pretty funny too.   I think most of my "material" came out of the fact that I was just a dork to begin with in high school.  No guys ever looked at me and people made fun of me a lot.  By the time Junior year started I had had enough of everyone's crap.  I finally just started lashing out at everyone that kept making fun of me.  Low and behold, everyone else thought it was funny.  So I caught on and everytime someone made fun of me I would go back at them with something else.  Soon I was actually becoming friends with some of these people.  So I ended up being the only girl sitting in the back of the room with the "bad" guys.  By my Senior year I ended up having my own little circle of girlfriends(they were the same ones I had been friends with all along) but I also was friends with pretty much everyone else in the class and some in other grades.  During class I would always sit with the guys, at lunch I would sit with my friends, and I would stop and talk with everyone in the halls.    So to answer your question, I think to begin with I was coming from a darker place because I hated everyone for making fun of me.  I also had a pretty troubled childhood.  People still think I'm pretty funny now, but I feel happier now than I was in high school.  Kids can be so cruel.

Were You A "class Clown" In School?

I was known to crack wise I learned things very quickly, and inevitably I'd get a little bit bored at times.  This would lead me to trying to impair the learning of others as humourously as possible.    I was a happy kid - not the most popular, but still with plenty of friends.  I played just about every sport from soccer to baseball, and also was in the advanced classes.   Sometimes, I just couldn't help myself with a wise comment or inappropriate remark.  This was almost always done in a classroom where I didn't really have a strong attachment to the teacher.  If the teacher was engaging, I'd be respectful and keep it to myself.   There was a kid in my class who was the stereotypical class clown - he absolutely had to be the center of attention.  He didn't care if he was making fun of someone else or making fun of himself.  As long as people were laughing at what he said or did, he was "happy".  I definitely think he had issues, but I couldn't say what they were.  Years later, we actually be came pretty good friends our senior year in high school when he transferred to the high school I was going to(his parents had him in a catholic school until then).  He was still hilarious, but had adjusted well.   67alecto's Recommendations Class Clown Amazon List Price: $9.98 Used from: $6.89 Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5(based on 11 reviews) 67alecto 77 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
