I'll be in Grade 12 next year and I live in Ontario. Essentially, you need 6 Grade 12 University- Preparation or University/College-Preparation courses to apply for a program at a university. Next year, I'm planning on taking the following:
English (University Preparation) - a mandatory course... from what I've heard, it's much more difficult than Grade 12 English...
Food and Nutrition Sciences (University/College-Preparation) - essentially, studying the elements of food (calories, carbs, fat, etc.), eating disorders, food from different cultures, etc.
Challenge and Change in Society (University/College-Preparation) - it's pretty much an anthropology course
Canadian and World Politics (University Preparation) - explains itself
Canadian and International Law (University Preparation) - explain itself
The West and The World History (University Preparation) - an in-depth study of the world's history, it's the continuation of Grade 11 Ancient Civilizations history...
Parenting (Open) - it's a pretty fun course from what I've heard... I'm taking it because I failed a class this year and I need the credit, in order to graduate... it's easy assignments and you get a toy baby for the ISU...
The Writer's Craft (University-Preparation) - writing stories, essays, poems, etc.
Okay, I want to go into the field of law and government and I'm aiming for a 75 minimum. I'd like to achieve an 80 next year. Do you have any suggestions for courses that I should take?
