Okay, it's time for some good vibes :0) So, if any of you committed a random act of kindness yesterday OR if you were a victim of a random act of kindness, tell us about it and make us smile.....

What Random Act Of Kindness Did You Commit Yesterday (5/8/8)?

Postby Fridrik » Sun Feb 16, 2014 7:10 pm

I had gone to the mall with my 16 year old daughter. Things weren?t going that smooth. I couldn?t do anything right, pick anything good, say anything she agreed with, so, I decided to call it a day. I had a few things that I wanted to get done at the mall, and one of them was at JCPenney, which was the way we came into the mall. I knew what I wanted, got it and got in line. There were only two people, but the way my daughter saw it - you might have thought there were 20. Anyway, the 2nd person gets up to the register and it seems she has a BIG problem, and can?t understand the explanation from the employee and my daughter is huffing, and I am getting ready to walk...when the customer with the problem turns around to offer me her $10 coupon because she wouldn?t be able to use it after all, as it didn?t apply to what she was buying.  Well, it didn?t help me either, so I passed it on the to the lady behind me, who couldn?t use it, so the last person in line was thrilled - because she could use it.   Anyway, it was a nice ending to a not so fun outing to the mall - even if I didn?t get to use the $10 coupon.

What Random Act Of Kindness Did You Commit Yesterday (5/8/8)?

Thursday and she was just lost without it...as I was.  Well Doug, my husband, and I worked on it Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday trying to get the thing to work, finally giving up and taking the hard drive out of it because the Mother Board evidently went to the Spirit in the Sky.  They were able to copy her files onto a CD for her...we ordered her a new puter and it came in on the 7th.  I am not a techie person...not even close, but I tried very hard to get it up and running and I managed to get everything plugged in to the right holes!  I was excited.  Anyway...we are on a wireless network and I know nothing about that so I called a Computer place and the guy, Joey is his name came by yesterday and got everything running for us.  I was talking to him... and I told him that I was sorry that I could not be more help but that I was not very techie at all and know very little about computers.  This is the kind part....he said to me, " Sharon, quit saying that, you know a whole lot more than you think that you know and a whole lot more than some folks who claim that they know...when they clearly do not." I just thought that was so nice of him to say...and it made me feel good to think that hey, maybe I do know more than I think I do!   Oh, then I had to take out the CD drives from the old computer...I had never done things like that  before...and I will never be able to get them back in LOL...my husband even told me that I did a good job with that .. so I was a happy lil birdie! :)

What Random Act Of Kindness Did You Commit Yesterday (5/8/8)?

Postby Tylere » Fri Feb 21, 2014 11:45 pm

this happened last night on my way home from work.   i already crossed the road and I noticed something on the middle of the road it was moving I?m not even sure what it was so I look back...It was a small green frog.... I was so afraid that it might be crushed by a car so I went back and since there was no car passing by I pick it up and put the frog on the near by park

Well, as some of you know, my Secretary has had computer problems all week. Her computer crashed last Thursday and she was just lost without it...as I was. This is the kind part....he said to me, " Sharon, quit saying that, you know a whole lot more than you think that you know and a whole lot more than some folks who claim that they know...when they clearly do not."
