Why do Latin American news channels often identify Sheriff Joe Arpaio as "racist"?

Simply because Italian American (Sheriff of Maricopa County Arizona )Joe Arpaio works to protect Arizona & the rest of America from ILLEGAL immigrants does in no way make him a "racist",it puzzles me why Latin American news media label him a "racist" and "anti immigrant" ,yet they NEVER use the term ILLEGAL immigrant when identifying illegal Mexicans & Central Americans that break U.S .A. Laws by entering Arizona illegally.America has always been and still is pro LEGAL immigration and anti ILLEGAL immigration yet the only thing close minded & ignorant Latin American news reporters talk about is how the laws are so " racist" and " anti immigrant".
