I've taken Geodon in my past. I'm also allergic to Penicillin. I've taken a variety of antbiotics in the past . as well now. I can't remember all of them. I do remember Bactrim. The ones I do remember are: Errythromycin Erry-c Levaquin(excelllemt) Clindomycin Cipro Something called the six pack. On the first day,you take two, on remaining days you take one a day. None will interract. If you called the pharmacy, they will advise you whether or not you should be taking this medication or not. As I indicated above, Levaquin is the strongest and most reliable antibiotic to take. Also the most expensive so I hope you have good insurance. Believe me, if the antibiotic interracts with your Geodon, the pharmacy will deny it. Trust the pharmacy. Ask them what they think a good antibiotic is good for you ailments. They will offer a list and you can relay it to your doctor. If I were you, I'd look for another doctor. He should know. And if he's wrong, the pharmacist will catch it. So don't worry. Just get well. It's not complicated. Your doctor is causing confusion. I hope for a speedy recovery! Sources: Experience goldengirl 61 months ago Please sign in to give a compliment.
