Would you go to the University of Michigan or the University of Southern California?

I am a Political Science major accepted for honors at both, and I have to choose in the next couple of days.

Basically at this point I am really interested in both attending a great law school, and/or becoming a dedicated actress. I definitely want both a lot right now. :/

Umich is ranked way higher for academics in Poli Sci (and Biology, Literature, Government, and Theater...which I am also interested in) yet USC has a fairly good reputation as well.

BUT at USC I would live in Los Angeles, and coming from a small rural town in the midwest, this seems like a great opportunity while I am young. Plus the weather there is beautiful, and there is literally not enough time in the world to take advantage of everything there is to do there. Also, USC is smaller (17,000 undergrads to Umich 48,000) and they are known for their connections and networking in "the Trojan Family". I visited and I really liked it. It was very, very small though...
Michigan is soooo cold, and people have even called it depressing? How true is that?
Yet Michigan has a way higher rate for sending students to prestigious grad schools, and the students seem a lot more relaxed and the experience seems to be a bit more how I pictured the college experience/college town.

Clearly I am very torn.
What do you think I should do?
Thanks!
