Being Charged For A Service I Cancelled.

Hi, my question is this:

I have ATT, one day some charges for horoscopes and stuff like that, at 9.99 a month, showed up on my cell phone bill. I texted stop to the number they said, but every month after that I kept getting charged. This all started in August of 2011. I called the company numerous times each time they reassured me that I wouldnt get charged anymore. Most recently, last month, I called them up and they told me that they dont have my number down in any of their systems and that I shouldnt be getting charged anymore. This month another charge for their service showed up again.

Is there anything I can do, they said they would block my number completely, which didnt help, they offered a reimbursment for a partial amount that they took. They are giving me 29.97, which is no where near the 89.90 that they have taken from me. Its not only the money though, its the stress of dealing with this company who assures me every time that I will not be charged, when every month it comes back up. I would like to make them pay for their negligent business practices. Any answers or any advice would be welcome.

I've always liked this bit.  After I worked For That Telephone Organization I'd a saving on my notebook of course if I'd an especially violent owner, I'd drive the shortcut option on my pc and perform it for that additional workplace folks.  Never didn't obtain a laugh.<br />
Having said that, I worked within the Executive Practices of TPC and we managed grievances for 3rd party billings everyday.  TPC is necessary to credit these costs when the client statements they've never registered for all those providers and also the harmful organization can not show otherwise.  often people unconsciously accept these providers once they visit particular sites and accept obtain allegedly harmless info.  Occurs daily and all could be well-advised to check their payment statements.  seniors and never too vivid are simple targets.<br />

Perhaps you have tried calling your creditcard organization and arguing the cost?  that always atleast gets them to sit down up and get notice.  It might or might not function, however itis another thing to try.<br />
For producing them purchase their irresponsible company methods, I am aware, but I believe you'd be succeeding simply to get your cash back, or possibly simply encourage them to quit receiving you.  go an action at the same time and perhaps you are able to resolve this issue.  <br />
It is a discomfort since there's nothing in it for them at this time to prevent getting you, and there is truly noone there you keep in touch with who really cares.<br />

It was simply discussed below locally.  It's named "cramming" when these businesses conceal the very fact you're becoming a member of their $9.99 monthly charge for material that you don't need or need to be able to presumably get anything "free" from them.  All of The OP must do is intensely protest towards the supplier and also the costs ought to be credited.  carry on up the string of order till they respond.<br />
