Can A Ll Make A Spouse Leave The Dwelling?

I wanted to know if a LL can make me leave the house if I refuse to go to marriage counseling with my husband? Husband & I are having some major problems in your relationship right now. I want out of the marrige, he doesnt. (Only married less then a year) Theres alot of trust issues. He started talking to our LL who is real big on going to church. And told me that the LL said either we sit infront of a pastor or I have to leave the house. He also went and told the LL that I was a dug addict. ( I have been clean since 2005) Thanks for any help!

See 68 P.S. § 250.501 Notice to quit (a) A landlord desirous of repossessing real property from a tenant except real property which is a mobile home space as defined in the act of November 24, 1976 (P.L. 1176, No. 261), [FN1] known as the "Mobile Home Park Rights Act," may notify, in writing, the tenant to remove from the same at the expiration of the time specified in the notice under the following circumstances, namely, (1) Upon the termination of a term of the tenant, (2) or upon forfeiture of the lease for breach of its conditions, (3) or upon the failure of the tenant, upon demand, to satisfy any rent reserved and due.

Seems like your husband is a bit of a looney. I hope there's no abuse or violence involved.
If things are that bad, I'd be getting a lawyer real fast.

October's right around the corner.
You might as well find yourself another place to live and get out of there.
Caution: You need not tell your spouse of your intentions. And when you are ready to move, the safest way is when he isn't there so you don't have any issues with what you leave with.

Thanks for the feedback. He is a bit loony that's why I want out. No abuse or anything.
We have nothing together only the lease on the house which is up in October. He has his bank account I have mine.

CAUTION: My guess is LL is out to lunch as to due process in PA. Good intentions run amuck? Did you sign lease? Yes; be darn careful--if you leave house and Hubby holds over you may be held to pay lease anyway if he doesn't.

Even although you are not about the rent you most likely possess a right of ownership due to marital privileges. If you should be about the rent, the landlord needs to end it or find foreclosure based on state-law. When the LL begins getting huffy, contact the police. this is not his business.

Thanks Jack! I spoke to the LL, he NEVER told my Husband I had to leave. I didnt think he did.
