Marketing Worries

Postby Cartere » Fri Jun 27, 2014 7:00 pm

I've been a salaried supervisor in The Home Website for 12 years. During the last 5 decades, I've been ranked promotable-prepared today to another degree on ALL my performance evaluations, however I've not been chosen for an appointment. On my current evaluation, I acquired the greatest score feasible, but have been educated that I've been down-rated and certainly will not be viewed for marketing. I had been formerly a store-manager, and voluntarily walked down from that placement 5 years back. I'm currently an assistant supervisor. The main reason that's being positioned is the fact that I formerly kept a store-manager placement, which since I have did, they'll not consider me. Nevertheless, they've marketed people previously in my own identical situation. Am I being discriminated against, and do I've any option. In that case, may you please recommend me on correct span of action.Thank You

All elegance that'sn't centered on a protected attribute is AUTHORIZED. Under federal regulation, such things as era (40+), race, intercourse, faith, etc. States might have more.Protection is generally completed to avoid discrimination about the foundation of items that an individual can't handle, like age and race. Elegance completed about the foundation of somebody's options in existence is generally authorized, using the exclusion of faith - and departing homosexuality from it since the regulators can't agree with option v. genetics.

"Am I being discriminated against, and do I have any recourse."We can't possibly know.
Nothing you've written indicates any illegal discrimination is going on.
Heck, you don't even say why it was that you "stepped down" from a store manager position.

Not all discriminatio is illegal. CHoosing not to promote you to a position you previously held is not illegal.
