Somone Promoting Our Pictures Of Stars [online]

Postby Jamal » Sat Apr 26, 2014 12:49 am

Hello, I got pictures of the musical team in the 80's and might market (4x6 pictures) of these in a shop I held back then.  I've discovered somebody has ripped the pictures and it is selling them [online].  I attempted to locate just how to trademark them to consider them to judge given that they do not stop promoting them.  I can not discover the information.  These pictures were never printed, I've the disadvantages of of these. What must I do? Is there a method to trademark them like a set of images or might they have to be personal?  Any links or info could be SIGNIFICANTLY appreciated.

Were you legally approved (from the team) to photograph the team and market the images? Or even, your to market them mightn't be any more powerful than anyone elseis to market them. Should you were officially approved, you most likely had some copyright protection from day-one. To understand about this and about just how to enroll your projects, the US Copyright Office includes a site with plenty of info: http://www.copyright.gov/
