1 Year In Illinois Dept. Of Corrections

If I am sentenced to 1 year in Illinois Dept. of Corrections how long will I actually serve? I have no record other than the drug offense I am being sentenced for.

You should expect to serve a year. Anything less is normally given for good behavior and there's no guarantee of that.

I don't think any IL attorneys are on the boards. The website for their prison system probably has an FAQ or something on this.
