A question on Maritime studies and job prospects?

Postby tai38 » Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:53 pm

I am a Nautical lecturer (used to work in manager offices too) and plan to study in UK next year (for the purpose of pursuing a career there - either academic or office based) . Which course do you feel would be the best - career wise?

I am thinking... London Met (MSc Intl trade & transport), Greenwich (MBA Maritime studies), Liverpool JMU, Southampton (Mtm Law)? Or some other place?

How good / bad is the demand for Maritime lecturers in UK?

The best place to ask is on the "Let's do business in the shipping industry" group on facebook.com.

I also suggest you do some research on a maritime specific search engine like this:

You can find demand on faststream.co.uk or on a maritime job aggregator like ours:
