I think I might have a way to make these things more efficient, but I don't think I can patent it!

Anyway, what would another 2% be worth to the world??!

If you can do it for the same cost of making the motors or transformers, then that means for some big factories, 2% could amount to several 100,000 kwh a month on electric costs.

The higher the monthly power costs to a company the more that 2% would be a big deal. A lot of automobile companies will completely redesign a piece to save 2 cents on a high volume item, so it stands to reason they would like anything that saves money.

The only problem is, since the capital costs for the motors and such has already been made so you could only get customers that were setting up new factories or replacement motors unless you could figure out a way to retrofit existing transformers & motors with your design.

You could always get a patent pending to protect your idea while you market it. The pending status gives the idea a timeline when the idea was created and if the idea is original it can be patented later after the search is complete

it also depends on how you are making them 2% more efficient. Or if you are instead being fooled by the measuring equipment when say seeing resonance etc..

Always remember the engineering golden TANSTAAFL rule. Their Aint No Such Thing As A Free Lunch :)
