I am thinking on filing for bankruptcy. I have over 15,000 in credit card debit alone but am curios if I am able to include a lawsuit. I was recently involved in a car accident where i did not have the insurance to cover the cost of damage to the other parties vehicle and injures. Their insurance company has hired a law firm to collect $27,000 from me as a debt. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not that could be included in a bankruptcy filing.
